How We Make Recommendations
Everything featured on Curvy as Fork starts with real life.
I research, test, and live with the products, places, and experiences I share here, because usefulness matters more to me than trends or perfection. I’m interested in what actually works in a real body, in real days, in real situations, not what looks good in theory.
I believe the best products and experiences are the ones that genuinely support your life, the ones you’ll reach for again, not the ones that promise transformation or optimization. Comfort, dignity, pleasure, and ease are always part of the evaluation.
When I review or recommend something, that process may include hands-on use, personal experience over time, conversations with experts when relevant, and careful research into how a product is made, how it’s meant to be used, and whether it holds up in practice. I also share the small, practical details, what helped, what didn’t, and what I’d do differently, so you can decide what will work for you.
Nothing here is about fixing yourself. It’s about finding tools, experiences, and choices that make life feel more supportive and more enjoyable.
Our Business Model
Curvy as Fork is an independently owned media brand, and it’s supported primarily through affiliate partnerships.
Some of the links on this site are affiliate links, which means I may earn a small commission if you choose to purchase through them, at no additional cost to you. If a product is returned, that commission is typically rescinded.
Affiliate partnerships never determine what I feature. I don’t promote products, places, or experiences because a brand asks me to, and I don’t recommend things I wouldn’t genuinely use, enjoy, or feel comfortable standing behind. If something doesn’t work, isn’t accessible, or doesn’t live up to its promise, I won’t suggest it here.
This site is a business, and it’s also a values-led one. Monetization allows me to keep doing this work thoughtfully, honestly, and without rushing content or compromising voice. Every recommendation is made with the same question in mind:
Would I still share this if there were no commission attached?
If the answer isn’t yes, it doesn’t belong on Curvy as Fork.
